Rubber pipe from fuel Tank to axel ??

6MM Rubber pipe think from Fuel tank, it looks like it goes in to axel Think it was connected by a nipple May be a breather Not sure. ???? how important is it

There wouldn't be anything connected from the fuel tank to axle you may be looking at the axle breather pipe as long as you don't go wading its not a problem but long term water could get in there and degrade your diff oil

It will definitely be the rear diff breather.
The fitting on the diff tends to break off just leaving the hose dangling.
It doesn't go In to the fuel tank just up into the chassis.

How important

Breather looks blocked the nut/nipple will break Iam sure if I try undo it,,,,can oil come out from the area Might keep soaking in WD or similar.

You will get a little oil mist from it when it gets hot but unless you turn the truck upside down very little will come out.
I welded mine back together when it broke.
That's was a while ago and it's still ok for now.
