Rough Sounding Cars

Is it me or do the rally cars in this video sound dam rough. Only one that sounds anything like is the 6R4.

I agree they do sound rather odd, I put it down to the camshaft overlap & turbo boost.

Okay but the Mercedes A45 is 2 litres and pushes out 355 BHP !
