Any body had trouble with fuel pipes on td going rotten??

Just noticed a damp patch under my mave and upon a further inspection noticed one of the fuel pipes very damp so will presume that this is the culprit!

It's very common & it don't really seam age related as some have trucks older than yours on OE pipes & some with younger trucks have had to replaces the fuel pipes:rolleyes:TBH I think i'm going to have to do mine this year as they are getting rather rusty:(

well I just done a search for copper fuel pipe on fleabay and it only bought up 6mm & 8mm so I would go for the larger one out of them two

Hi Scott,
had the same problem with my T2 when first got it, rotten fuel pipe, was leakin over the back wheel. Replaced with 8mm copper, bit of a pig to get it to shape over the back axle and connect up, but bit of patience got there. and not an expensive fix either.
good luck Wayne
