are there any replacement cills available for my t2 or do i have to make my own. Mine have rotted all the way through.

make your own, i think sills off another car fit but i cant remember what car it is

thats what i was thinking. im not bothered about looks i just dont want the car to fold in half

body is separate from chassis so you should be ok on that part :lol

yeh, like a rock slider mate, I'd use sommit like 80x40 3mm box

ive been looking at a few sites and box section seems the way to go. im only replacing them from the rear wheels to the hinge side of the back doors.
its gonna look messy but as long as it works im ok with that. it needs doing because its rotting near the body mounts.

if anyone has done this before some info would be apprecia:thumb2ted.
