also want at few up top. didnt think about it lighing up the window dash and bonnet.. so how far back should it be??

Here you are Zippy, for what it's worth, cable run!
Just a couple of wires in the rail from each spot and soldered together

Here is the plug end and the socket will be fitted to the roof rail base.

think you need a grommet in that hole - a few thousand miles of the air wanging the wire around as you do 60 down the road will soon see it chaffed through.

Yep it is now that was an earlier pic while sorting the wires in and out.
Also black siliconed after too.
The black part of the sheathing goes inthe hole now too.

I can post you some shrink wrap for the chain if ya like , and yes I have it in black ...

Cheers guys that chain is a bit naff:augie so a bit of black hammerite spray should sort it once it all works without a meltdown
