Not a chance in daylight ... never mind the dark ... you have more chance of my getting behind the wheel than me doing that section in the daylight ... but I would be very happy to film you and the rest of the lads attemtping it though ...

Hi 4x4xFord I think it looks canny m8  If you eanted to make it a bit more secure you could drill the light bar & fit the U part of the clamp through the bar to stop any side ways movent  It was just an idea

You could just drill through the bar and the roofrail and put a bolt through.

Good idea!! I dont mind ideas, just fitted them quick last night was getting very cold and dark. Might need to get smaller clamps tho, if they are the other way up they sit on the roof.

There is a recess in the bar where the thule bar clamps in so not sure its possible, and if you ever see me with a drill you'd shout noooooo!! a bit accident prone

Hi 4x4xford  if you fit smaller claps then you could use just the U part over the top of your rails & through bar & fit the nuts on the under side of the light bar with a flat, spring washer & a locking nut. They should'nt come loose with that lot on

Oh yes, down in daylight, up in the dark  (but not for the begginers I must add)

Have you tried them in the dark yet? I think you may get reflection off the bonnet with them being so far back :|

My only critisism is, if you'd used a piece of timber it would have been cheaper :p -rotfl- (and maybe 2nd hand exhaust clamps -rotfl- -rotfl- -rotfl- )
