Roof rails

Has anyone fitted roof rails to a terrano 2 that didn't come with them fitted ? I have a 51 plate which doesn't have them fitted but have been looking at picking some up from a breaker

Yep, Me!
I got mine off ebay, Subaru Legacy side rails, fit a treat. £15 plus £5 post.
Just pull the roof lining out and drill the holes.
I used an "Expensive" Caravan sealer in, out & around all the holes for waterproofing.
Be Careful where you drill, there is a seam inside the roof that you need to avoid, plus the cross brace.
I'd already drilled my holes before I spotted the cross bracing member, so ended up drilling through it ooops!

Easy peasy mate, give it a go.

Yes i have mate Took some off a terrano touring for my Terrano R30 Sport Big stripppp down job But looks well now And i use them offten Took some pics as i did it step by step Can forward them to you if you wish so you know what your up against :doh :thumbs

I've fitted LWB Terrano rails to my SWB Maverick with the help of the guys and an angle grinder
