Roof Rails on SWB Maverick

Can anyone shed light on this for me please.

I have the chance of buying a set of roof rails for a SWB. I have seen a photo of the rails fitted to an earlier pre face lift SWB ...thing is I checked my vehicle and there is no apparent way to fit rails to my roof...take it they were a factory fitted item and if they weren't fitted as standard thats it...or is it...is there a way I coul fit a set...would it mean removing the roof lining ?...is it even worth considering ?

i recon if careful you could fit from outside without all the work of striping the interior etc
but you will need some sort of cavity fixing or fixing along those lines. i got something here, i could try and let you know maybe put a pic on for you

We have had this one before, Try doing a seach using the word "rails", Can be fitted without removing head lining.

Rivinuts is what you need:thumb2 Just fitted rails to my Patrol and thats what Nissan use, no need to take lining out

You don't need the expensive tool to fit them, use a flat bar with a hole and an allen bolt the same size as the bolts your using. The bolt needs to be longer to pull the rivinut up and expand.
