anyone got an idea how you fit roof bars to my new 2004 xtrail they have to fit roof rails that incorporate built in spot/fog lamps or as nissan call them safari lamps, wondered if you have to remove parts of the roof rail plastic to fit the bars any info would be great:bow
 
remove 4 plastic covers (slot in forward top area to lever up & then remove) which will reveal fixing points fo 2 bolts on each foot :thumb2

still looking for bars to fit my safari rails on my xtrail just found out the rails fit inside the rails and not clamped to the actual rails themselves anyone help:bow
 
On the t-spec with the roof lights, I dont think roof bars are possible.

yup there is a set available which fit inside the bars so u can fit roof box knowing nissan they will be expensive thanks for the reply anyway:thumb2
 
Halfords do thule roof bars and have A book which shows models if its possible get them to show you then dont buy cos they are not cheap:thumb2
 
thanks for the info halfords had two types and both were about 200 quid but the guy was not very helpfull when i asked him to show me the picture on his screen
 
xtrail safari bars

Those safari rails are awesome. Wished my t2 had them:rolleyes:

got a rear bumper light unit from this car no bulb holders though if you want it postage is about £3 or if you are near the erskine bridge area u could pick up, also got a set of thule roof bars for the t2 £35
