No problem,ADZ, I'll be happy to do the logistics at this end. For those interested,this will be in conjunction with Leinster 4x4 who have a very good play area in Wicklow. Very similar drive time from Rosslare ferry port or Dun Laoighaire or Dublin ,North Wall. Just under a couple of hours off the ferry. Check this out for details on what's available. Liam, would be glad to help out and maybe tag along. Afraid time is very, very limited due to work and family committments so I don't want to make any promise other than if I can do something I will. However, could look into arranging something down here in the sunny south east. Don't know if I can arrange an off-road expedition though but I could probably look into a few options. Think the Munster 4x4 club have events on a regular basis so will see if there is anything there that might correspond with the dates being mentioned. Could probably arrange accommodation for a night or two for a 4x4 deputation at the local community centre (only about 2 mins from local pubs) as they have bunks etc. for hill walkers. Will keep an eye on this here and see how things are developing.

Think it's because they lease a forest from Coillte in Wicklow and also public liability insurance. You'd have to ask them for a complete breakdown of costs although having spoken to Neil it seems they are playing every weekend throughout the year unlike other clubs who only meet once a month or so. If you break it down over the year it's less than €6 per week which is very cheap. By the way,I'm not a member but have been told I can go have a looky some weekend. Maybe if you're free some Sunday we could check it out, I know Aughrim is a long way but if you're visiting Dublin it's not too much further.
