Driving a 1998 T2 would like a newer one 03 04 same T2 but just slight change to lights may be leather seats Just newer mine getting a little rusty in places a change , but love the Vehicle seen some nice ones £4000. what year will the tax change paying more for the same vehicle.

All models just escaped the hefty VED increases...and £4k is a bloody good price for an 03/04 plate if in good nick!
 
Theres also the nice little band K which is well worth being aware of if you go for another make. If id bought 2006 or newer I'd be paying over £400 , sticking with a 52 plate its £245 :thumb2:D

Not always true sadly - my little R-plate Micra runabout is £125....similar cars today are £35 or free :(

Reno Megane (Hatch and Estate) and Clio with the 1.5DCI lump in them are £35, the Scenic with the same lump is £125:doh just guess which one we have:doh

There's no sense in all the road tax bands to me. I think we pay enough duty on fuel and the road tax should be dropped. Atleast that way them that use more pay more.
