Called in to the garage where my old girl is,awaiting engine transplant(can't get near the car lift as the other one is broken down and the owner and friend has to monopolise the other one to earn his living, quite rightly) and found some lowlife vermin has broken the lock on my fuel tank cover to get in and syphon out the diesel from the tank over the weekend. As a few weeks ago some other little twat broke off the electric aerial I am not a happy bunny to say the least. So now my shopping list gets longer, sliding rear window closer, rubber hoses for power steering reservoir, aerial and now fuel cover lock and key!Am really hacked off and seriously thinking of buying a shotgun!

Chear up mate look on the bright side , if it had been left out in the uk the aerial would probably be the only thing left :augie

buy the shot gun and use it, if you can catch them of course, my experience of the French attitude in the early 70's would have supported such action, do not know about now though as things have changed, Rick

Sorry to hear that mate. I know how you feel as I recently suffered damage to our Astra from hit and runs 3 times in six months. Twice while it was parked outside the house:(

My suggestions, buy a cheap camera if poss, and leave a bit of bait :naughty

Or something that surves many purposes my favorite

An extremely loud trip mine which fire a 12 guage shotgun blank when activated by the tripwire supplied. Numerous uses can be achieved by use of the imagination but they MUST be placed in a safe position. A small amount of Black Powder is ejected so these have to be placed either close to the ground or over 6ft in the air so that a players face can't come close enough to cause damage to the skin or eardrums. Ehehehe brown trousers moment :naughty

I have used these in my yard, very effective, at one point had three set up, only went off once never had a problem after, Rick

Oh and I have 4 cameras monitoring all points with constant recording, Rick

That's wicked, I love it :thumb2 German shepards work well too! :naughty

With what id want to do though you'd need pigs aswell as dogs :lol

Thanks for the feedback, sadly nowadays over here Rick the gendarmes will waste 3 hours writing a crime report then do sweet FA about it,they're much happier setting up checkpoints for speeding(only allowed 1 kmph over speed limit here so be aware all those embarking on the trip over to Jonelas) and anyone who may of had a glass of wine with their lunch.Sad really the flic(police/gendarmes) are actually on bonus for issuing PVs(tickets),the more people get nicked the more they gain,as for investigating real crimes, theft, damage to your vehicle, assault forget it,that may mean actually working and doing some good for the community. No chance, but if I got a shotgun bet your life I'd get visited.Still very hacked off!

I have had some of these in my garden for some time now.
