ps on that subject Briggie Enterprise weekend rental from £11 a day :thumbs No insurance loading for any disabilities providing DVLA are aware ie you still hold a licence.

just spoke to sheila .... she thinks she will be ok to drive in a couple of days , and is prepared to follow me up the m1 , she knows where watford gap services is too ( so she wont get lost lol ) ....how does watford gap services on thursday afternoon sound rick ? ( its sheilas payday on thursday so could afford £100 for fuel ) :nenau

ok , hows this for a idea ? ..... i hire the car from enterprise , but with you and me named as drivers ,then i meet you somewhere like watford gap , and we swap , you then take the hire car to the base in your town ? maybe someone could get a cheap deal with enterprise instead of the £84 ive been quoted ?

Nearly forgot, we have an engine that needs to go back to Bat 21 (shrewsbury), if I put it in Sally, Briggie will not be able to go via Shrewsbury, and if he takes the engine home he will not be able to get his chair in, till he gets the engine back to Shrewsbury which is a long way, so has anybody any ideas, the best I can come up with is get a carrier to collect it and deliver it to Shrewsbury, but no idea of cost, unless we have other options, Rick.....:nenau

made a meal of that didn't I, but I am not going to type it again, I hate typing.:doh

Yup as there will now be money in the pot, carrier to shift the engine and rick should be remunerated for his efforts at least in part. We know he didnt do it for reward bu now its possible to do something about that.
