yes well done.being as it was my trade it gets easy the more you do.hardest part is finding how to de trim befor you get to the glass. a small hole pushed through old bond and cheesewire wrapped around wood did the job.
there was a time you had a wire in the putty you put on to bond then ran a 12v charge to melt bond to stick.
the glass clean and primer is a must.
if i remember over there it was no glass ins and cost was prohibitive in his area for him.

Thanks guys , doing it wasn't half as scary as thinking about doing it :lol
I slightly damage one of the internal windscreen pillar plastic covers with the wire:doh ,so if anyone has a drivers side in cream I'l have it :thumb2

Oh and Knackeling is now the word of the day.

not something I would attempt, but well done & great write up with good pics, very helpful to some i'm sure. mine will need doing sometime but think I'll let the experts do it :thumbs

just a couple of tips to add to the thread. This was the best wire I found for the job it's steel mufti strand used for hanging signs and shelves, held on the dowel with an electrical block connector.
To clean off any excess adhesive, use the cleaner used for cleaning out polyurethane foam guns , the type used by window fitters.
