Sorry to ask this daft question - I was trying to replace the headlight bulbs (H4) today to Night Breaker, but I couldn't as I wasn't sure why the bulb wasn't released, stuck in the socket. I know there are two clips thingy on the side but are they pushed to release the bulb? (I was trying to hard to pull these two clips on the sides but in vain)

Your quick advise would be great.

Cheers!

Thank you, Rick. Ahhhh, a bit wasted today but will do it tomorrow - and all front lights will be replaced except winkers.:thumbs

Was it the actual plug connector stuck to the bulbs? I've had that with both my trucks. It seems the heat from the bulb seems to melt the plastic and weld them together. I bought a pair of ceramic plugs from ebay and soldered on to the wires. If you look at my project thread you'll see the photos.

Hi Jim, well I saw the bulb already being loose from the socket when I was struggling to pull up the clip (doh!), I suppose it'd be ok. Good skill if you did it! Soldering is still something I'd feel far away from usable technique for me.
