Have you coloured those in with a blue pen???

How much did you pay a corner if you don't mind me asking? I need 2 new ones for my MOT in July
Hi Banshee, each one cost me £135.00 balanced etc. the blue is on from new,it does wear off and the goes to white, driven !carefully! they should do 60,000mls apparently, i've had BF AT's on for 8yrs on the 97 T2 and they are half worn now but i only do about 6,000mls per year in each.terrano.

That looks like a brilliant mod, does it work? is 10 mm big enough, I find it difficult to do the adjustment with the drum off as you tend to lever against the dust rubber, maybe your mod gets round that, Rick

Hi Solarman, yes it works great,a 10mm hole is plenty for a small flat blade screwdriver, you are levering upwards to expand the adjuster, i marked the backplate so i can line the drum up easier, the brake drum is to heavy to take off and on and your not disturbing the brake shoes etc.

I will give this a go on my off roader, if it works you will be due a medal, I have to adjust the rear brakes after every other meet as the abrasive mud demands it and new shoes every 6 to 10 meets, Rick

Front Wings

Did you have to remove the bumpers to take the front wings off ?

thanks

No mate,
I managed without, there is a bolt up front which i managed to undo, i have had the bumper off before to clean and repaint metalwork "see my albums" so that's not a big job just another job.
