this is the stuff i used to replace my fuel lines front to rear some one here wonted to know what i used and where it came from, its good stuff and not very expensive if you just want to do the rotten bit over the rear axle then you only need about 2 metres if you get 3 then loads left over so you can replace the hoses at the fuel filter end to so you have nice clear tbe to make sure your fuel is clean, not frozen if using svo like me and bubble free

YEH! That was me, but I'm not in a fit state to do them.
Mav's booked in for Tuesday at a garage who quoted £100 for Fuel & Brake pipes replacement.
Sounds very cheap, but he came highly recommended.
He also quoted £80. for Steam Clean & Underseal, which is a good price.

thats a lot better than the last place i seem to remember it was the mot station wasnt it just trying it on

Fuel pipes replaced and all old brake pipes & crap removed.
Mechanic said the existing Brake Pipe is good, Copper so won't rot.
Cost £104. I give him £120.

Re-Test tomorrow, so we'll see what happens then!

i let my local mechanic do some simple jobs on our terra just after we got it not because i couldnt do them i was busy at work and just wanted them done not only did he over charge me he also didnt do half the things he charged me for. bit silly of him to think i wouldnt check

needless to say i have been doing all and any of the jobs my self with the exception of the clutch rick n swifty did that for me :thumb2

been working on my own cars since i was 17 and bikes since i was 12 i think i just got lazy letting some one else do the work, well never again and this forum is a great place for info on how to fix things you didnt even know were broken
