have the usual fuel gauge not reading problem, have traced fault to the fuel sender unit in the fuel tank i think, and am looking for a replacement or a second hand one that works, as have just got off the phone from nissan, they tell me the part is not available in the uk and can be got from holland for a small fortune! anyone breaking a terrano that has the part please reply or pm me

If you use the milometer you dont need a fuel guage. Fill it up, run for 200 mile and fill it back up again. Every 200 mile just keep topping it back up, it wont use it all, but it will make sure you never run out.

I dont pay attention to mine, i just fill up every 180 mile.
 
thanks for the advice, thats what im doing at the mo, and im ok doing that, but her indoors wants it working so if i can get a second hand one she will be happy, im sure it was love at first sight or rohipnol!
