Well buzzer or no buzzer thingy, 7 pin or whatever other pin thingys, it all sounds like too much hassle and a likely fail to me. Plus I'm not a farmer so don't wish to plough when offroading

I would keep it as added protection from poor parkers !I'm considering removing the tow bar on my T2 as I'll never have any use for it. Just wondering how easy/difficult it's likely to be to get off, and what do I do with the electrics etc?

Good advice - I have to do that every year with my bullbar and spots, not legal in Spain unless they came fitted from the factory (and they're shown on the Spanish version of the V5).
Erm!Where do you stand with your insurance then?
