So theres a screw and tab? over to head lamp that ssems to be holding
indicator in place, anything else, anyone from memory, involved in getting
unit out. Need to drain it has has collected water from a crack in that has
been taped over but still leaked.

They just pop out with a gentle pull, they have ball and socket fastening.:thumb2

When out, drill a small hole to let the water out.

Thats what i did

Found a length of airline tube for an aquarium (washer jet tubing would do) fitted to a syringe is great for getting water out of healights etc:thumb2 filled upmy old SWB's headlights a few times

was toying with drilling a drain.

googled it and looks a pig, headlight has to come out.
looks light bulb change is same or battery out!

decided to scrape sellotape off to see if could syphon water
out. pushed a drinking straw in but managed to break lens
where already cracked so now have finger sized hole.

still was easier to suck and dribble water out though think ended
up drinking bit of it two. then multiple layers of wide sellotape
to cover it. think just in time as water was just under bulb!

will get a new lens for when its mot time and let garage fit it so can
realign headlight beam at same time.
