I had been getting a "knocking" sound from the front end. Following advice from here, I removed the front ARB to try and trace the fault. It was the ARB. The bushes look pretty worn, and the drop links look like they've had a battering since tweeking the torsion bars. The truck is much nicer to drive now, alot less "crashing" going over pot holes, and the ride is alot more supple and compliant. There is a bit more body roll, only noticable at higher speeds on bends. I just drive accordingly. One thing is for sure, it won't be going back on again.

No mate, I've left the rear alone. I thought that this would be a happy medium.

the back one is best off
mine did load of stuff it wouldnt when i took rear off
took front off and it all went horrid... i recon terra's right my dampers are dead.... saving for some good hard ones

but its the rear off you want if on rough stuff

think you will have to remove traces of its bracket otherwise will fail test,
mind may still if tester knows it should be there.

i asked at my local test station about removing arb's, and was told if brackets are there and arb has been removed he would fail the vehicle, but if there was no brackets he would pass vehicle but would advise that no arb's were fitted, just to cover himself. :thumbs
