Right, thought I’d start a new thread because all the others are long winded.

So I have bought 2 fobs from eBay which both test fine on my 3litre.

My project truck is the truck I bought them for. Programmed them up seemed fine so stopped the programming procedure. I programmed original working fob, my two new ones and also one that I had repaired for John. Locked and unlocked with my original no problem. My two new ones and Johns only lock and will not unlock. Both switches are used to programme them up and as above work fine on my 3 litre.

I’ve also discovered that if you have anti hijack enabled then you will need to press unlock again to unlock all doors. It won’t go into programming mode until all doors are unlocked.

Just a thought, are the fobs set up for 2 button press to full unlock, but your T2 does not support it? I tried setting it up on our 2 T2's as mentioned in the other thread, but it did not work on either. On Suz's 2001 which needs 2 button presses, I could not turn it off, and on my 99, I could not turn it on.

One of the remotes I have here only unlocks if I press the unlock button quickly 4 times.

No my 99 plate doesn’t have that function either Clive, good thought though. Might try disconnecting battery later to see if it resets the CCM. I have wondered if the CCM could have a fault or if there is a way of hard resetting it.

Good find Tdoug but unfortunately the chips aren’t anything to do with the remotes.
Going to try again later.
