Remote Central Locking Controller

Is anyone able to tell me where the remote central locking controller is please. Having problems with my 99 terrano gradually failing to either recognise remotes and now wife had trouble unlocking.

Under the dash to the left of the steering wheel, black box by Siemens with a frequency marked on it, but more likely the fobs playing about than the receiver, Rick

I would of agreed with you Rick but done a lot of playing and replacement fobs, maybe just needs a reset but no idea how to reset the whole controller.

My Mav sometimes misbehaves just have to find the right spot ie window height drivers door, also just taking apart the fob works wonders so agree with Rick probably a fob dirty contacts.

In that case it’s buggered then. Definitely not the fobs though.

I noticed the flip key that I have locks/unlocks with less faffing about than the normal ones :nenau
Jim mate, is it the project truck or the blue nun?

I have a spare dash unit but not sure if it will integrate with the ECU without problem on a swap, but you are welcome to it to try, Rick
