Rear tail gate window

Anyone got a rear tail gate window with privicy glass (Dark green)

Mine got smashed on Saturday and the windscreen company can not get one for a month and the glass alone is £450.

I know its covered on my insurance, but if poss i dont want to go through them as its going to take so long.

I smashed mine off roading and ended up getting a s/h door. Cheaper and easier tha the glass for me :thumbs

Be aware some insurance companies have a max payout on windows :thumbs

im waiting to see what the insurance says now. Either way its got to be done, i did think of just swapping the rear door and do it that way.

The story behind it is, Dont forget you have a magmount cb ariel on when you go under one of them carpark "height" restriction things.

New door is the way to go glass is bonded in.I sold loads of doors , glass seems to be break for past time.Ive got 3 doors in stock 2 shades of blue and one red.

I have a rear door for a 96 if it is the same? not privacy glass but you can have it if you want to arrange collection, it is blue though but cheap to paint and window tint can be applied, Rick

Cheers rick, different windows though, but very knid offer.

Good news though, window is going to cost £460 (Just for the glass) + fitting. i only have to pay £75 of that, and its a bonus as all the heated window will work now.

Still have to wait a while as it needs to be ordered, but going to tell them its urgent as people keep cutting the plastic bag off and stealing the radio. LOL :naughty
