hi all, iv found a place on fleabay selling rear spring spacers (25-75mm) for £25+p&p. can i fit these with my standard shocks or will i need to buy longer ones too? thanks in advance, vince

You can fit with or without longer shocks. But not point really lifting it if you don't get longer shocks.

I am not a fan of spring spacers as they can fall out.

Your better off going with the dislocation cone lift mod, Posted on here a few times.

thanks fez, iv lifted the front torsion bars and just want a cheap fix to lift the rear too, cheers

the ebay link i put up is selling dis cones for £25 new, quite a saving. i was just reading some of the posts on search regarding lifting and these fall out too apparently, some use wire to hold in place, others jubilee clips so no real difference with the falling out by the looks of things?

EACH :doh

I just looked and in the quantity box it's 1  Unless I've got the wrong ting? What's the link?
Also the set I linked to includes spring locators and free post :sly

question sent and replied, its 25 a pair! they also do 50mm body lift blocks for 20 quid! wow! good price i think.:D:D

yep, they are the ones, after looking at A LOT of pics of modded trucks it seems most people wire them in anyway so i may as well buy these cheap ones and drill and wire them in position, the body lift kit looks good too but think 50mm is a tad excessive for me:lol haha is there such a thing as too much lift??!!:naughty:naughty:clap

do you think they fit at top or bottom?

In people's experience here how much can you lift before brake hoses get effected ect? Or if you like a "safe lift"

Brake lines are fine for 3" for sure. Just remember to adjust the brake compensator accordingly :thumb2

after 2.5" you need to adjust the breather for the front dif and gearbox too, they both share the same breather on a T type junction, just unscrew it from the chassis or replace with rubber hose

Suspension lift shouldn't make any difference to front breather pipes as IFS can't go any further than stock anyway (apart from bump stop removal).
Are you thinking of body lift Steve :augie
