on this bumper mod, IMHO, it looks terrible and is completely pointless.

Don't get all complacent about insurance cover, with a job like that hanging on the back of your truck plod may decide to have a closer look one day. I know . I've been stopped more times this year than you've had birthdays :lol
For the doubting thomas types reading this, he's got a LWB truck and has a huge overhanging arse end, thus making a very poor departure angle. So that's why I have done my bumper mod. Tow bar does nothing to protect your fuel tank, just shocks the back of your chassis when you land on it.
Tow bar electrics: just fit the socket into the metal quarter below the rear hi-level lights, nice n neat and no need for plastic bags and zip ties etc
So there

Christ my typos are bad, this is what it should say:rolleyes:

been trimmed down so large rock and things dont hit it, i'll put L**d R***r style mud flaps on at the back to stay legal.
Did wonder what it was in English!!!

Mm I like the idea about the socket under the lights:thumbs

I mean it looks like you wrecked a perfectly good bumper for zero gain

Ahh, ok, I see you're point, well I thought I'll have a go at it as the bumper is damaged In places....also I have another perfectly good bumper. :)
