Believe it or not I have a Magnus just through an MOT and it passed with no rear fogs!!!! Where should they be fitted and what position should I place the switch. I have a kit with relay/switch. How do I wire it in? . A straight feed from battery via relay or through the fuse box using low beam circuit? Any advice

A Terrano what?

Should be on offside.

Only work if side lights are on.

Always fuse

Can also be central, but not on N/S, or within 100mm of Number plate, Indicators, or brake lights.

Switch must be illuminated, or a Amber warning light for when fogs are on.

Fog Lights

Thanks for the swift replies. The vehicle is a Terrano Regulus 2.7tdi auto registered as a 1997 vehicle

My r3mR import had a rear fog light fitted it only operated as others have said when the main lights were on. The small rocker switch on mine was illuminated by a dead glow worm so for the MoT I had to add an extra warning light!

The lamp itself was under the bumper bar the switch was lower right hand side of the dash near the fuse box cover.

can be near side if has matching off side, ie a pair, or n/s if lhd built for lhd market
temporary uk use but would need moving/pairing if resident.

for a new fir would go one central, low maybe led hi level brake light type mount.
