A bit of a lame question, but does anyone know where I can locate the rear fog light fuse ? My truck needs an MOT and it seems to of cropped up on lots of the previous MOTs so obviously been a long standing problem. Luckily the test center missed it last time. Hoping it's not wire related or could have something to do with the tow bar wiring !!!

Thanks

Craig

On mine (r3mR) it was the lamp that was very rusty inside the power to the lamp was okay when I stripped back the corroded cable and fitted a new connector.

Following years MoT had to replace the lamp again as it looked like a fish bowl - poor lamp cable entry seal!

Doesn’t the fuse box lid have a chart giving info of each fuse?

If your towbar wiring is connected behind the bumper (basically exterior of the car) then I would say you will have a bad connection. My 3 litre is connected behind passenger side rear lamp that’s mounted in the bumper. Looks like a dedicated wiring kit as it plugs into the wiring original nissan plugs. Hate that as it is so open to corrosion. I’ve seen towbar wiring connected using scotch locks behind the bumper which is so open to problems.

Hi Jim, yeah it has a diagram on the fuse box, but can't see any mention of rear fog light. I'll whip the rear passenger side light off and have a look. Cheers

Terrano rear lights are rubbish, check the wires where they come out of the bulb holder, they break, and check all wires for corrosion :thumb2
