Rear exhaust pipe rusty on LWB TDI......

Hi all,

Need a new rear pipe for my late 2002 2.7TD! LWB but looking about the web seems to be many different sorts (for many different years) but all basically the samer? Mine is rusting through at the rear monting bracket just before the rear little silencer at the back.. My question would be......... can I fit a pipe from another year (LWB model) so long as the mating to the middle box is the same? Mine looks to be a non flange fitting but there are loads about of different designs and NONE are like mine!!! Doesnt seem to be anything affordable for anything post 2/2002 models?

I had this problem with my 2.7, my old exhaust had a silencer box by the end, but Nissan showed it to be a straight pipe, that's what I fitted in the end.

Where can I get replacement exhaust mounts?

All the rubber bits of the mounts have perrished so my exhaust is held up with 2.5mm twin&earth wrapped round and twisted ...... technically known in the trade as a bodge :augie
