Hi All, whilst away for the day today I noticed the rear section of my exhaust wobbling about as the kids were getting in and out of the car. When I look ed under at the exhaust I found the rear mounting broken. It looks to be a rubber ring with capative bolts at the top and bottom. Does anyone know if this is a dealer part only or should I be able to get it at a motor factors?

if thats the case will have to be a modified one from the local place.

Just ordered one from a local motor factors for £4, just have to go back and pick it up after 1pm today. It's a shame they don't sell the enthusiasm to fit it -rotfl-

rear mounting

i know what you mean  robbed mine off my other t2 just got to fit it to this one.got a bagfull of bits to do but can't get into anything major to day as iv'e got to go out later.(its as good an excuse as any  )

Well I picked up the mounting this morning, then had a coffee and then another and watched the Bill on UK gold before I had the enthusiasm.

The captive bolts were turning inside the old mounting so they were a pig to take off.

Now it's fitted with a nice smear of copper slip on the threads to help if it needs to come off again.

Back to the DIY after another coffee and back to work on Monday for a well deserved rest
