hiya all, can enyone help me regarding removal of rear and front interior door panels, my rear window has stopped working an I need to check the connections, also need to fit new speakers in front doors. any help would be great. thanks

The front doors won't take you long to do IIRC there are a few black screws on the door latch edge & 1 at the hinges, then you have the 3 in the door handle & 1 in the internal release leaver & 1 next to the speaker, after they have been removed you'll have to pull the panel free from the door as they are held in place with plastic clips  I have know idea on the rear doors as I don't have them

Thats great, Sweety. thanks for your help, -cheers- I will get right on that in the mornin, its a bit too dark now an I aint got a garage. just gotta sort the back one out cos my window is stuck open an its gettin really cold now :( :(

My drivers do window sometimes won't go up. If I press "down" a few times, and then press "up", it will work !

At a guess (I have a SWB) there will be a few screws at the edges & poss the bottom of the door trim, 1 screw holding the inner door release trim in place & poss 3 screws holding the door handle in place

rear door panel removal

hi big dave.
sorry that didnt work.
right to get panel off .
have a look for screws holding card to door frame
not done one ,but look for screws in handle (maybe behind a cover)
door card is held on with push studs so get a couple of old carving knives /scrapers/ but not screwdrivers .
you insert a knife between card and door frame slide along till you contact a stud ,place second knife about 2" past obstruction and work the two together and then twist knives gently and stud should pop if not try another one until sucsess then work your way around door card
DONT BEND CARD "board" OR IT COULD BUCKLE OR BREAK
when re attaching line studs up and push them back in.

Firstly remove the door trim (with the window up)
1. Remove the two plastic caps and screws
2. Remove the screw in the top of the door handle and withdraw the handle.
3. Pull the door latch lever out and carefully prise the surrounding trim off and remove.
4. Starting at the lower R/H corner carefully prise the door panel away from the door being careful not to break any of the plastic poppers. Once free lift the panel away from the door and disconnect the wire to the window switch.
