Rear demister and Hazard Switch buttons

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if the Rear Window demister and Hazard light buttons on a T2 should be illuminated?

If so how do I get mine to work.

Yes and nissan will tell you that you can not replace the bulbs. Take em appart so you know what the bulbs are. Then pop in to your local Maplin's and buy 12v bulbs with wire legs and you're sorted. I replaced mine with LED's and resistors years ago but it was a pain to do so it's far easier with the bulbs.

I thought they only lit up when in use?????

Not sure about the later model cos your switches are different I think but the earlier type should light up with the dashboard/headlights. As well as the warning indicator lamp.

yup, my demister does, little orange light, but the hazard dosnt but i dont need it to as both indicators flash on the dash!
