Picked up the rear bumper last weekend, stripped it down yesterday removed all the bits gave it a good rub down, stared using my DA sander but my compressor is not man enough to run it so rubbed it down by hand, sprayed with upol primer, I have managed to spray most of the bumper and parts with bedliner but the compressor has given up on me. It's not good enough for constant use so may have to buy another. Anyway here some pics so far.

Need a big compressor to run a DA.
I've got a 100 litre and that struggles to run mine.

Yeah I know, I did have one but sold it. While I was waiting for the compressor to cool down my raptor Bedliner went hard in the bottle, next time I will only mix up a bit at a time. Just got the Jerry can holder to do but rather than buy another compressor I might do it with a rad roller, won't be quite the same finish but at least it will be done.

Well the bumper is on with new lights, still not fitted the 2 swingaway carriers yet but please with how it's turned out.
1 question, now I've fitted the LED rear lights my indicators flash very quickly but my hazard lights are normal. Any ideas?

Think you need to fit a resistor across the indicator bulbs as the flasher unit is seeing no bulb due to the lower actual power of the LED, Ray f or the light supplier should be able to advise on value and wattage, Rick

I think you can get an LED flasher unit this would be better as it's internal. Need to find where it's located and see if I can swap it out

I suspect that many Nissan vehicles share the TCU or time control unit.
This unit controls a number of body funtions such as indicators/hazards etc.
Construction and use regs. state the the indicator system must give a warning of lamp failure by some means. Altering the manner in which the TCU behaves is only possible by providing a minimum expected load.
Get a selection of 12V lamps and start with the smallest, when you find it stick one both sides. Hopefully it may be a good deal less than the normal 21W.

You do get some LED bulbs that have a resistor built in so they work in the indicators like a normal one
