i will be honest, if i wanted an off road truck i would have gone for the swb , the rear row are barely usable anyway tbh, so, you want a rugged look for your truck...rear bumper, side steps ,front bull bars with BIG spot lamps! thats rugged looking(not maybe good for action?). get a mig welding course at night school and you can knock up something much better than that. no offense intended but for gods sake do not cut up a £300 front bumper to de value your truck by £1000. looks a solid truck, enjoy. but a basic welding course.... knock that into shite!

I have been away (Cyprus) and just catching up (god, you lot can chat:lol ) on the back log.
ALEX!!! Nooooooooooooooo

I know it's your truck and all that, but that looks wrong.
My opinion

Oh no not another one :augie

Haha, it's unanimous everyone hates my bumper, apart from one guy at my work. He is blind though ;)

Alex.

I know Im the forum Noob and really I shouldn't be shouting the odds, but frankly that looks naff. The rest of the truck looks ace.

Either sack the bumper off totally and do something creative with some trailer lamp pods or get something made up in box section (and do something creative with the lamps from an earlier model)

Could you not fabricate something of a "quick release" mechanism for a standard look bumper for when you want to off road? Some cable connectors like they sell in Maplin or even a 12N set up would sort the 'lecktrics out.

I have only one comment to post here, that is "if you like what you have got then stuff what others think as it is not their truck but yours" nuff said Rick

Nah everyone is entitled to their opinions, if I didn't want to hear i wouldn't have posted, but I'm keeping it this way. I think as a few have mentioned once the front is done it will be a bit more "even" if you know what I mean :thumb2

You'll also need some nice rock sliders with tube tree sliders to match the bumpers next:lol

You might actually be on to something there, once the body is lifted and the 33"s are on :naughty

Dude, you do know your new tyres are 32s don't you? :augie

Yeah, if anything that'll help me a tad. Although someone was telling me to be careful with these tyre size conversion websites as a lot of them measure as a road tyre with small tread :nenau

Views? :nenau
