Hi was under the truck yesterday and noticed that both rear anti roll bars links/adjusters are very worn and have about 10 mm play.
Will get a new set and fit them is it worth changing the bushes at the same tome as the whole kit is not that much .
Also the truck sits lower on the passenger side any ideas as to what could cause this its about 1 in difference .
Thanks Ady

If you play off road some say its worth takeing the roll bar OFF.

sitting lower check the springs might need some new ones,. also might need to adjust up the front a bit too...

Your torsion bars simply need adjusting to raise the side thats dropped.

Yes change bushes...and check front ARB ones while you're at it....Milners Offroad quick and cheap:thumb2

Thanks for info the truck is used for day to day car and pay and play at weekends im presuming by taking the roll bar off it will allow better movement .
Also cannot raise the torsion bar as for some reason they are at maximum so would have to remove them and reset

yep loads more movement...

yep reindex them.. just takes longer to do im told.
its been covered on here boefor, joust have a little search, some thing will pop up.

Ady...I assumed you meant the front wasn't level?

Two things to note:

1. If your bars are at max stretch then the front is already too high, unless you don't mind stuff breaking all the time? If you don't have all the suspension components properly realigned (and thats a more expensive job) then the extra stress on stuff like CV joints, bushes, transmission etc.. is enormous. How does the truck sit? If the front is slightly lower than the back then I'm puzzled as to how its maxed out, you only normally need to reindex the bars if you have monster tyres on and the back has been lifted with bigger springs? (But thats just my view, other peeps are happy to be replacing steering arms, bushes etc.. with regular monotony, depends how much money you have LOL).

2. As has been said, you CAN remove the rear ARB for more articulation but its wise to keep that for offroad use only (it causes more body roll on-road without them, the clue is in the name!)....if you ever had an accident on-road and were found to have removed the rear ARB, you'd be in deep sh*t on both the insurance and legal front, seriously, for degrading the factory suspension spec. As for removing the fronts, don't even think about it. Turns this truck into a potential death-trap as I nearly discovered when mine was off for a couple of days awaiting new bushes....as have others!

Sorry to be wearing my serious head but better to know the downsides of these things so you can make an informed decision....:)
