ready for the road but got some welding to do !!!!!!!

well maverick goes on road 1st august really looking forward to it now engine is sweet as a kitten but havin a poke rnd underneath oooppps poked a away at some rust on rear body to chassis mount and now have a hole good old ebay just brought a mig welder so looks like more work !!!!!!!!!!

Hope you get on OK with the welding. I have the same problem as you but unfortunately cannot weld! I have been quoted approximately £150 for both sides in 3mm plate. I hope this is a reasonable charge as they say they will probably have to remove the bumper to gain more access. Let us know how you get on with the job.

removing bumper makes job lot easier not done much welding but wot i have done is good so gunna give it a go over next few weeks the key to good weld is clean metal ive learnt but got to admit does look a tight area to work in
