Radio/Tape player

Just put deposit on T2, the only problem I have is the radio/tape player display doesn't work, so will need a new one, but it has a CD changer, so could I buy any CD player from Halfords, and could this be linked to the CD changer :?:

or has anyone got an Idea how much a new radio/tape would be from Nissan? or do you have one I can buy?

there is no harness avalible to connect the existing changer to any cd player believe me i tried,so its just a new cd player you need or you will have to buy a new changer package if you want one.

hope you got some cash knocked off for the display :?

Na but got good trade in price and few other things the dealer is doing, new CD player it is then probably, will it fit in the gap as the tape player seemed narrower than any CD player 8O

Hi Mundy the answer your looking fo m8 is YES :smile: I have posted a few time now about how to remove the old head unit so if you have a search you should find it, but if not give me a shout & I can talk you through it :wink: The new CD players cage clips in around the edges of the dash panel which are just infront of the factory head unit as it is mounted behind the dash panel. You may need a harness but these are vey easy to get & it'll take about 1/2 hour to swop it over taking your time :wink:
