Radio fascia

Have read all the posts on changing out the 1.5 din (with built in hazard switch), with home-made fascia.

Question is, will the old single din with hazard light above (i.e. not built into the radio), fit the space?

i.e. Will this fascia come out and...........

Seems like an easy solution, but guess it mightn't be possible as I don't see anyone suggesting it....:nenau

i made my own when i replaced my head unit but i would assume the hole in the dash is the same size:nenau

Are you going back to an original Nissan radio? Anyhoo, here's a couple of photos of the head unit from mine. Came with the truck like this. Has a single DIN unit like your first photo. Previous owner said the old radio was needed for key programming, etc. Had a long story about the truck not starting in a caravan site a short while after replacing the radio and having to drive hundreds of miles in a hire car to get the old head unit for the garage.

My next job is in the background. [emoji1]
