Rad hose diameter

Does anyone know the inside diameter of the main hoses for the rad?

mines the same as petes.

I've seen that site, just wanted to make sure the hose size was right.

Probably will buy this as I'll never see the red or blue ones from x-eng because of all the mud and it's a bit cheaper:

same thing , but looks plastic. mine and petes are ally .
spose you gotta decide if plastic is as good as ally with high and low temps and possible fast changes in temp going through deep water .

thats a good point. I don't think engine temps will be a problem.

But for a few quid more it's nice to know the alu will be strong and reliable.

well I have installed all the wiring and thermostat and is working well. But the bottom hose doesn't get that warm so I don't think the auto fans will kick in much unless on long journeys then idling.

Have it controlled by a 3 way switch. auto (1 low temp fan and 2 high temp fan), Off and low temp fan on.
