Dirty Frog may be down ... but is she OUT ????
We have the technology ... We have the budget ( sadly not quite $ 6,000,000 ) to build her BETTER, FASTER , more ATHLETIC than she was before !!!!
PROVE THE CHELSEA TRACTORS WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!
GO FOR IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sly :naughty :bow Matt.

Hi Adz, bad luck you OK?

Another Terrano / Maverick (can't lift the front easy & no diff locks) - the most obvious and best as all the mods will fit
Vitara (bloody petrol but can lift easy) but its so UGLY - hair dressers motor

Disco ( cheap & easy) and for your budget, rot box - Just dont go there

Defender 90 / 110 not on a grand mate

Frontera - good solid motors LWB pretty capable

Have a look on partco salvage I have a bid number pm me or give us a call.

have got a 2.7 tdi engine but the injector pump is gone and the sump has been sold. £60 if its any good to you.
its the zexel type pump one early 97.
have got a 2"lift on my lwb front and rear just had to re spline the adjusters to get the lift on the front.

The latest update is that it is being dried out now at my mates & it is trying to start :bow
So the plugs are now out along with the fuel tank, oil & filters to clean, change & dry :rolleyes:
Fingers crossed she'll be reincarnated :naughty
If not :nenau I'll break it :( all parts will be for sale apart from the tyres :thumbs
& i would go for a Vitara or SJ :thumbs

id stay with the t2 anyone tried living with a suzuki on a daily drive ? ............. shit

the 90's are the cheepest alternative . id love one but i wont give up on the t2 ......... yet


with the snorkel done right it might have bought you a few seconds .......... but the thing everyone especially the bonkers crowd forgets .

every truck has its limits. and from what i have heard based on the recent rescue of rob and his chums even howard couldnt get in to rescue the 3rd landy. and
hes on 35 inch new simex with diff lockers and everything . broke his prop in the prossess

. im told even a tracked vehicle would have got stuck

remember if you do stuff like that its going to cost more than you can afford financially but ........... i think your lucky to be alive myself .


either you did something wrong

or did something your truck is not capable of

end of the day you was the driver ................. driver error

dirty frog

Harlow maverick i hope you are right, and the dirty frog is alive.

I met up with Adz a few weeks back and my middle son who is not very enthueastic about anything thought the dirty frog was the frogs dangly bits and did not shut up about it.

More to the point I will be over the moon for Adz.:thumb2

Tis a shame if it did die, cos my truck is so unnaturally clean it makes me sick (mrs p thinks "she" :eek: :confused: bloody "she " looks nice :eek: :confused:)

any way summer looks like it is on its way

The snorkel held the water out :D
It went in via the exhaust after i shut er off :rolleyes:

The driving was normal & well within my limits & i don't try stuff that i or the Frog cant do & Pete can vouch for the as proven at the last Bonkas pay'n'play day :naughty
The ground gave way under me so i had no alternative but to steer into it or i would of rolled.
I was then heading down to deeper water than i thought :doh
By this time it was to late & i was in, what more it was like quick sand & ground to a halt :doh
Then in came the water :eek: upto the dash :eek: I bailed out via the sun roof :augie​

Was just a load of sand which i hovered out along with the reaming water :D
What has amazed me is that everything works apart from the clock :D
