Sorry for the dodgy footage as cameraman is my 9yr old lad :D

Just messing about on a muddy wet bank in a field trying to get up.

It gets steeper and higher but this relatively tame bit is all I can manage at mo, not bad though for standard road tyres IMO.

Need bigger tyres to get more ground clearance, but tow bar was grounding on the steeper part. Gonna remove that at week end and tie electrics up out the way, then try the steeper part. Diff is definitely doing something as I had the lad watching me whilst in 2wd on a muddy slope and both wheels were spinning whilst I just kept going.

Love this truck !!

Rewire your electrics to the body mate :thumb2 Easy place is just below the near side rear lights. That way you can oik the tow bar off any time and save ploughing the field with it :D

You need to get him on the BBC mate, his videoing is better than dads driving :lol:lol:thumbs

Well, there's shit loads of spare wire on these electrics and they come from n/s corner. So I'm just going to cable tie the lot up out the way as it is, and remove rear towbar. Never tow and have nothing to tow.

just put ur camera or camera fone in it make sure its pionting the right way n not 2 the sky like i did on my 1st attempt n u get a great drivers view!

so your lsd is working now then ?

It's doing something, over an open diff anyway.

I think there is still some resistance left in the clutches, how much, who knows

After changing the oil in my diff, I noticed the car was still a bit twitchy to start with.
Now after a good run of 260 miles the car has settled down nicely, I will change the diff oil again next week, as this has been recommended on here and should give the LSD plate a nice fresh spring clean:thumb2

Right, took towbar off and sorted electrics this morning, pissed up this steep 5 ft wet grass bank, but rear number plate carrier is bent and covered in mud/grass :p

What you reckon ? Take it off and put plate on spare wheel ?

Fit it to the door, saves having to unwire it when you want your wheel.
I did a thread on it :lol

Just get a transit no. plate lamp and cut a hole for it, a wire to tail lights through the door grommet and some s/s screws bingo :thumbs
