Truck's been driving me mad with a strange 'tinkle' from the nearside all week.........changed the oils this afternoon & took the chance to bang stuff with a hammer while I was underneath.

Turned out to be perished rubbers on the 2-month old roll bar drop-links, & the washer's been tinkling away like a pocketful of loose change :banghead

Guess maybe I've been harder on the Jolly Green Giant than I realised.............? Can't be sh*te rubber on Delphi replacements, surely? :augie

Anyhoo.........as I was scratching my head wondering if there was a quick fix, my eye fell upon some of my old homebrew stuff that I hadn't got around to chucking out. 'Eureka!', thought I.............. :D

Quick fettle & both drop-links are sporting new rubber :thumb2

New drop-links on order as I managed to burst a gaiter, & I've ordered a bar of polyurethane to fabricate new compliance bushes from. This'll do for the time being though, & it may just get you out of a spot if you have the sae issue & can't immediately replace the links :thumb2

I've posted them in as Photobucket attachments.......they should show up in the post :nenau

I can link the your Photobucket picture, but they just show up as a blank grey square... I can see other stuff on Photobucket.

Brewing Bung specification

They look ok but they may not last long it depends on the specification of the brewing bungs.

Have you thought of using the (Milners) Polybush versions as a long term option they are not expensive?
