well I hope not, but if they do, it won't be because theres any case as far as nuisance goes, its too remote....but they may well have a case in respect of environmental damage off the track - thanks mainly to the hordes of visitors who come and use it as their personal playground....

I quite agree, the trampling tourists, and it has to be said, there are some commercial operators who charge to take groups on the lanes, often find the most extreme or make new tracks with severely tricked up vehicles.........they do cause a great deal of damage.......
Perhaps if people on here who are concerned could email the council concerned? The process for closure allows people to make their own representation, by email/letter and in person, I'll be writing for sure..........

Do we know if its actually under threat? If it is, then of course we'd be doing that.

Vis-a-vis commercial operators, it was just one such group that got that girl drowned up there 2-3 years ago. They suck.

And call me a NIMBY but its a royal PITA to see stuff like great convoys of trucks into double figures, or 7-8 LRs towing military one-tonne trailers (just to prove they can!) and rampaging motorcyclists, and very few of them from The Principality.

I'd be in favour of a maximum convoy size, and ticket application with Welsh residents first come fIrst served! LOL
