I've put a thread up about this before and thought I'd hacked it's still there

Basically since replacing my discs and pads a good few months ago my truck now pulls to the right under braking. I've scratched my head over and over with this one but cannot understand what is causing it :(

Here's what I've done so far;

Checked Discs - True and tight onto the hub
Checks Pads - All pins tight and no movement of pads in calipers
Bled Brakes - Started with drivers and then did passengers, released bleed nipple, depressed pedal until only fluid came out, held at down position, nipple back in release pedal up slowly and then top off the reservoir with more DOT4

Slider Pins - I've removed both sides sanded them down with fine sandpaper copper greased them

help me, it's doing my head in!!!!!!!!!!!

If all ball joints/bushes & suspension settings are OK; I suppose you've checked the tracking?
Other things that will cause this pulling are out of balance wheels, distorted tyres (may not be obvious when stationary but should show up on a balancing rig if you're looking for it) or even lumps or hollows on the treads (also can be difficult to see), try using a depth gauge. Tyre distortion tends to be more noticeable at lower speeds (say, up to 30/40 mph), centrifugal force masking it at higher speeds.
Mine nearly failed the MOT on 24% inbalance on front brakes but this didn't cause any noticeable pulling to one side & I'm still wondering what caused it 11 months later. If it shows up on the next MOT I will be at as much a loss as you LOL.

Try swapping the pads to the other sides
Sometimes it is the odd things that causes problems

Have you checked that the caliper piston isn't sticking.

How can I do that?

take the pads out and have some one press the brake pedal gently you dont want the pistons poping out both pistons should move outwards together if 1 moves and the other doesnt then put something between the good piston and the caliper and pump the brake pedal again and see if the stuck one moves. i would do this with the caliper off

I'll be trying that one :thumb2

flexi hoses can degrade inside, with no apparent signs on the outside, often causing an invisible blockage from the outside, ive only had it once but it can happen. it would be the hose opposite the side it was pulling to. hanging callipers without supporting weight was my downfall, stretched the outside but the inside closed up,unattached to exterior part. good luck. :thumb2

Before you do any thing drastic swap the tyres from front to rear.this cured mine.

Check the slider pins on the calipers one of mine was bent one side not letting go

I had this problem on my old bmw .... it turned out to be a slightly warped disc .... new pair of discs problem sorted

How can I do that?

Even easier, jack up the front, spin both wheels and note resistance, pump brakes hard and try again, note any possible difference.

My first thought would be to see the surface of what the disc is sitting on, did you wire brush off any corrosion underneath what the disc sits on
(Very common on motorcycle, if people didn't clean the sitting surface the disc would be sitting slanted (by 0. 'S of mm's but even so that can make a huge difference)
