4x4 Project/workshop - Trolol

Just got this delivered at work, At a fair price. It's a 1992 vintage.

Yep, Locker too. Perfect

Sills will need some work, but wings are good condition if they are original.

My workshop is across the carpark at work, So was indeed working.

Can't really complain as work is indoors, warm and dry. Most of the work around here outdoor work.

They are very flexible though, 1 hour lunch. Can work through my lunch to go home early.

First job is to clean the workshop out for more space then gut the interior which smells like wet dog.

lunch? who the hell stops for lunch? oh and I do not breakfast either, apart from a cup of tea and after! a coffee, not going to say what the after is, then it is drink tea/coke during the day then meal no pudding at around 5.30 pm and I am still 87 kg, Rick

Thanks mate, So glad I've finally got one. Been looking for a while now!

Just starting getting to look around it more, Starting to rip out the minging carpet and interior after work. I will take my better camera next time.

2 Small rust holes in the boot/arch area, but for a 92 seems pretty good so far.

All the main interior is now out, side windows, all seats and rear doors are off.

pretty much set on the trayback route but may change my mind before I make any permanent cuts.

I'm still very undecided. After looking at trayback pics then pickup pics the pickup ones look so much nicer. :nenau

Decided to go the pickup route, With a trayback style wrap around roll cage/sliders. So commenced in taking out some of the soundproofing with my new air chisel on thursday during my lunch break.

Spent a couple of hours on the front end on friday night after work, Removed grill and moved wiring out of the way ready to cut some of the rot out and weld in some new metal.

Bought some new sanding discs, Aswell as some sandpaper for my finger sander and a new cutting disc for my big grinder ready for when I cut the back off.

Keep forgetting my decent camera at home. Sorry for the crappy phone shots.

Looking at these pics I think I should check behind my front grill . I have removed front bumper today and chassis don't look to bad
