i have just been informed that i have been promoted to silver banding status on the housing register .... considering that approximately 75% of all housing allocated is to people in the silver band , im quite happy ....... watch this space :clap

they sent a lady around to my house rick , she was horrified that i was in the bottom priority band .... they have now admitted i have a disability that makes my current home unsuitable ( stairs )

just a thought that this may help you if your councils is like mine i had to move from my private owned home due to disability and move in to a council bungalow but sat on waiting list in our lowest band for three years with no chance of getting offered a place then i had a chat with my doctor and he organised an occupational therapist to do an assesment which she did and that took us up to the top band and the council had three months to find me a bungalow which they did and i got one six weeks ago and just waiting for them to do more adaptions for me so it may help you if you try and get a occupational therapist involved :thumb2 to help you just a thought and good luck

quite a laugh innit rick ? ..... when i rung up they said i could " pop into " the housing office to look at properties ......its in the town centre .... nearest public carpark about 200 yards away .....means fuffing about lifting my wheelchair in and out of my truck ( you know how heavy that is :augie ) .... cant be arsed ..... i will play their silly games for now ...... cant believe the site is down for 3 weeks ffs
