If you don't use it you loose it sounds like the linkage might be seized hope u get it sorted b4 the snow:thumbs

I'll agree with that, I try mine every 3-4 months on wet grass or loose gravel. I then leave the auto hubs engaged and select 2 wd and exercise the front diff as well, to circulate the oil, for about 10 miles or so. Never had an issue in 16 1/2 years.:thumb2
