Just been looking at cars for sale and checking their mot history. For some reason I decided to check mine, my private plates have been switched on to my project truck from the truck that we are waiting to be written off.
The DVLA have added the mot history of the private plate to the history of the project truck. This makes the truck look very dodgy as the mileage goes up and down by a 100,000 miles and shows two mot's every year.

An interesting point as I have seen trucks for sale with similar mot history's.

Always worth asking the seller the reason for the discrepancy, make your decison based on the reply. If it's truthful it'll stand up to scrutiny.
An administrative error adding another zero, which doesn't match the numbers anyway, isn't likely to wash with anyone.

Twin history !

I have just checked my Beamer on the Gov website and it just shows the MoT's for the one right vehicle correctly no duplications.
