Bought some of the above last year but never got round to using it!

Spray onto windscreen etc BEFORE it freezes at night - next day - no ice just flick the front wipers and all is clear !

Small downside is that when it dries it does leave some marks on the screen where the wipers don't reach.

Sounds good stuff especially thinking about defrosting at quarter to seven in a morning.
Think it’s not a bad idea to wash the car down in that area as soon as you can too just to be on the safe side.
We have some cheap silver windscreen shades for the summer that Lidl sell but I’m sure they’ll be sold all over. Anyway we just cover the windscreens with those and they seem to do a reasonable job. Only thing is drying them out during the day.

I have one of those but ours is a bit on the small side and it takes forever to trap it in the door shut as when you shut the door it moves - then do the other side and its too far one way - when its windy it takes me 4 or five goes of opening each door.

When its really cold it still freezes behind the cover - probably cus its a cheap one - 99p!

That’s half the fun especially moving your fingers out of the way at the very last moment :lol
Had a call from my wife and the very first time it froze to the screen, I’d of expected better quality from 99p:lol
