I will be adding another radio/rig soon and want to power them direct from the battery. What have you done to get power into the cabin area?

Dual wire from the battery?

Both lines fused?

What amp fuse?

How to terminate, box with multi connectors?

Would be interested to see (photee's) of what you have done before I make a hash of it

At present I have an Alinco dual band Amateur radio and a CB radio, but may have another soon.

I guess it depends how many amps you intend to use, dont forget you only need to run a positive from the battery.
Normally the radio manufacturers place a fuse in each cable, so if yours is like this just stick a fuse a few inches away from the battery.
Thicker the cable the better I guess to avoid losses from front to back.
Ive toyed with the idea of making a distribution panel in the back but never got around to it.
